Experienced Gate Operator Technician.

 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Honest, self-motivated, and conscientious with the ability to work independently and as a team member. Someone who takes pride in their workmanship and their role within the organization.  Someone with the ability to use time wisely while working individually and successfully without direct supervision.

  • Must be familiar with DoorKing, LiftMaster, HySecurity, Maximum Controls, and FAAC gate operator systems, additionally – access control, card readers, keypads, and telephone entry systems – and related equipment.

  • Knowledge and ability to saw-cut asphalt and concrete, trench, dig, set posts and gates, install conduit and pull wire, fill and adjust vehicle loops, and related miscellaneous details.

  • Ability to troubleshoot, solve and effectively repair existing gate operator problems for commercial and residential customers.

  • Has previous low voltage, 110- and 220-volt, electrical and related mechanical service experience.

  • Possesses the ability to respectfully and confidently communicate with customers, management, fellow staff members, and vendors; maintains professionalism during service calls and new installation.

  • Completing necessary paperwork for each job in a timely manner.

  • Applicants must be able to read and work from written instructions, plans, drawings, and/or specifications.

  • Welding experience required.

  • Has experience operating general construction equipment and tools at site.

  • Keeps company issued work vehicle neat and clean, makes sure mobile inventory is organized and properly stored.

  • Follows all OSHA guidelines, customer safety plans, and company safety policies and procedures.

  • Possesses a valid drivers license with 5 years of driving history and adhering to all driving and safety rules and DOT requirements.

  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

  • Must be able to lift 80 pounds.

  • Must be on time at the start of each day.

  Job Type:

  • Full-time

  • No less than 40 per week

  • Monday to Friday

  • As-Needed Emergency response
